Back to the USSR? A Message From A Concerned American

My dad commented on the current state of affairs in America. This video is a must-see. Not only is it enlightening, it is rather troubling to hear how America’s fate is being jeopardized. Watch it below:

My dad and “spiritual adviser” Boris Hoffman gave a rousing speech at the Eagle Forum of San Diego’s February meeting. An immigrant from Lithuania (a country formerly occupied by the now defunct USSR), my father is disappointed with the direction America is going. He draws parallels of Soviet communism to Obama’s Marxist-Leninism currently plaguing America. He talks about the need for young people to wake up, for Americans to stop taking their country for granted, and for people to stop downplaying American Exceptionalism. Like any immigrant oppressed by communism, my father recalls the limitations he faced there. If you let America continue down this wrong path, we will be the next USSR. Obama, his agenda, and his cronies are not a joke.

About Gabriella Hoffman
Gabriella Hoffman is a senior at UC-San Diego who also balances life as a conservative activist. She’s majoring in Political Science and minoring in History. Unlike many out there today, Gabriella attributes her parents- Lithuanian immigrants- to her conservative upbringing. Her parents have a remarkable insight into conservatism because they fled the evil empire as political refugees in 1985 and entered the U.S. legally in 1986. Since age 9, she has watched Fox News and has been exposed to liberal injustices from early on. As a result, she is quite the firecracker in defending her conservative beliefs, and doesn’t hesitate to impart the corresponding message to friends and foes alike. Hoffman brought David Horowitz to campus May 2010, where he successfully highlighted the dangers involved in radical Islam with efforts like “Apartheid Week” and comments made by those proponents like Jumanah Albarhi. The event made national headlines, with mentions on Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity. She is one of the foremost conservative activists at UC-San Diego, having interned with Young America’s Foundation at the Reagan Ranch Center. Additionally, she works on The Rick Amato Show in San Diego-KCBQ 1170AM as an executive assistant/media relations correspondent. Hoffman also blogs for San Diego Rostra, blogs for David Horowitz’s NewsReal Blog, is Advertising Manager for UCSD’s conservative paper-The California Review, AmatoTalk.com, Student Free Press Association, and maintains her own blog: gabriellahoffman.wordpress.com.

  1. Gabriella,

Great to meet you, your sister and dad. Very cool family. Great job introducing your dad at the Eagle Forum meeting Feb. 19. It’s amazing that he was able to talk. To have your successful, dynamic and articulate daughter introduce you – well it doesn’t get any better for a dad.

Keep up the outstanding work. We’re very proud of you.
