Conservative talk show host Rick Amato delivers Tea Party message to “Occupy San Diego” (VIDEO)

My Findings at “Occupy San Diego” — Yes, They Are Misfits, Goons, and Idiots

Today, The Rick Amato Show ventured to “Occupy San Diego”. Rick, our producer Sutton, yours truly (executive assistant) and several of our friends encountered socialists, communists, anti-Semities, and frankly, stinky people.

Rick was asked to speak today after he criticized the “Occupy Wall Street” movement as one that harbors and equally emboldens “misfits, goons, and idiots.” He accepted their invitation to speak and here is what we discovered.

Below is Civic Plaza in downtown San Diego, where the “Occupy San Diego” event took place.

Of course, how could we escape the anti-Semites?

Don’t forget the eco-fanatics either!

In journalistic fashion, I’ve included videos from the event, ranging from Rick Amato’s Tea Party speech to select interviews with event goers.

This video highlights the purpose of “Occupy San Diego”:

Below is Rick Amato’s entire speech:

Additionally, we interviewed several ” Occupy San Diego” attendees.

The first guy does not understand the term “small government.” Instead, he maligns capitalism with fascist African governmental systems:

The second guy admits to being a self-hating capitalist below:

Remember, socialism and communism do make us equal–equal in poverty and misery.

My parents endured communism in the former USSR in the Baltic Republic of Lithuania. Fortunately, they escaped nearly 26 years ago and came here to California. In their former homeland, they had no freedom. Most pointedly, they were subjected to food rationing, religious intolerance (both Mom and Dad), institutionalized anti-Semitism (Dad), poverty, universal healthcare, and exorbitantly high taxes. To set the record straight: Communism reduces people to human debris.

In contrast, the United States is the freest place in the world. You can start a business, live without fear, freely practice religion, go to university, and make money. What other nation ensures this success and happiness?

These people need to stop scapegoating capitalism (and Jews). Instead, they should go after President Obama, Jeff Immelt, George Soros, and the crony capitalists in Wall Street–not capitalism itself. Unfortunately, “Occupy Wall Street” apologists are being exploited by leftists and have become their useful idiots. Time will tell if they will wake up and ingest some common sense.

Stay tuned for updates from San Diego and California.

UN Ambassador John Bolton Announces He’s “Seriously Considering” Running for POTUS12

On the Rick Amato Show this past Tuesday, John Bolton announced that he’s “very seriously considering” running for president in 2012.

My boss Rick Amato had an exclusive interview with him and explains what transpired below on Big Government:

Former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton has given several interviews over the past year where he has casually discussed the possibility of running for President in 2012.

The tone and clarity of that possibility changed the other night when in a rare one-on-one twenty-five minute interview, Ambassador Bolton used his strongest language to date in telling me where he stands on a possible run for the White House. Below is an excerpt from the interview:

The Young Cons on AmatoTalk- January 10th, 2011

On January 10th, 2011, The Rick Amato Show played host to The Young Cons of Dartmouth College.

If you’re a new listener to The Rick Amato Show, each Monday is our “Top Young Con of the Week” segment. In the segment, a top young conservative or group of young conservatives is spotlighted–whether they are combating leftists on campus and/or on a larger scale. As the producer of the “Top Young Con” segment, I drew the inspiration for Monday’s program from the Young Cons–who also see the need to draw young people to the Conservative Movement.

If you don’t know who the Young Cons are, here’s a little snippet. Remember the ‘Young Con Anthem’ that came out back in May 2009? The one that spread like wildfire on the blogosphere and got picked up by Fox News? How about the two tall basketball players donning suits and their infamous Reagan cutout? How about the guys rapping eloquently about the need for women with intellectual integrity and the need for more capitalists? Josh ‘Stiltz’ Riddle and Dave ‘Serious C’ Rufful are the masterminds behind this effort.

It was a fantastic show. The Young Cons introduced themselves to a greater audience in San Diego, the state of California, and the United States. They discussed their efforts and why they rap conservative viewpoints. Also, both Dave and Josh stressed the importance of a Young Conservative Movement. Both also commented on the AZ tragedy involving Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.

In case you crave more Young Cons, you will be able to hear them again in the near future! The podcast will be available for your listening pleasure under the “Podcasts” section on AmatoTalk.com.

In the meantime, check out their website: http://www.theyoungcons.com.

Next week: Two staff members from The Stanford Review join us.

“Top Young Con of the Week” Premiere with John Howting

January 3rd, 2011, marked the premiere of the “Top Young Con of the Week” segment on The Rick Amato Show. The Conservative Movement beckons for fresh, intelligent faces. We here at The Rick Amato Show see the importance of promoting young conservatives.

As the producer of the segment, I am responsible for getting activists to appear on the show.

This segment is largely inspired by the efforts of The Young Cons of Dartmouth College. Josh Riddle and Dave Rufful, basketball stars and editors of The Dartmouth Review, triggered a correspondent movement with their viral video, “Young Con Anthem.” Hence, the namesake title of the segment.

Our first guest was John Howting, a senior at Miami University in Ohio. He is the President of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute (ISI) chapter there, and is a former intern at Human Events. Through his activism, he has brought Jason Mattera, Bill Kristol, Karl Rove, and many other conservative speakers. Additionally, he operates the WMSR Redhawk Radio program, “The World According to John and Tom.” Activists like John bring that spark and originality needed in the Conservative Movement.

The “Top Young Con of the Week” segment will air each Monday. Be sure to listen to the show on January 10th, 2011, when we welcome The Young Cons of Dartmouth College!

Happy New Year, everyone!

Now that 2010 is over, we can look forward to 2011.

I hope you have your New Year’s Resolutions ready! Here are several of mine in terms of advancing the conservative message:

Connect as many young conservatives one another.

Write more articles and expose liberals/RINOs while I’m at it. Send suggestions or news tips my way! ;)

Transplant myself to more conservative causes [i.e. StopTaxingUs, Eagle Forum, TEA Parties].

To meet several notable conservatives. Long shot, but who knows? Maybe Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, and Rush Limbaugh…

Host a charity event or drive for the troops in terms of collecting and assembling care packages.

Share my family history with Americans and educate them about the threat of Marxists-Leninists to America. [Yes, this is a true fact. You can dismiss me as a "crazy, divisive hack" but hear me out. They are NOT mere socialists.]

Break a news story/expose injustices.

Get more listeners to The Rick Amato Show and expand our audience.

Bring sanity to California. Boy, do we need it…

Expand my blog and have a website up-and-running. I’d like to get more views, granted I do something right and worth reading.

Whatever holds for you in 2011, I sincerely hope you have a terrific year!
